It’s incredible to think summer has flown by so fast – and here we are with the Decora Park Subdivision Annual Summer Bash less than a week away!

From Noon to ~4pm will be our “Family Focused” part of the Bash with a face painter, bounce houses, dunk tank, and a DJ playing some great beats! Slicker’s Auto Spot will be running our 2nd annual Car Show, expanded to include Golf Carts [I didn’t have anything to do with that LOL]! The HOA will have water, popcorn, and an assortment of chips for snacks! D Loft Cafe will be at the Summer Bash serving a variety of lunch options from Noon to 4!

Get your babysitters lined up because after 4pm is the Parents Party – our live band Stone Fish will be cranking some great rock jams, Slicker’s Auto Spot is sponsoring our 2nd annual Corn Hole Tournament, and Batter Up Waffle Company will be at the Summer Bash for a dinner option!

We also have raffle baskets which have been generously donated by neighbors to raffle off, and a 50/50 raffle as well! Proceeds from the raffles will go towards the annual Adopt A Family activity led by Rebecka Mason-Fraser!

So c’mon out this Saturday for our annual party hosted by the Decora Park Subdivision HOA!

On June 22nd, 2022, the Decora Park Subdivision HOA passed the attached Solar Panel System Guidelines to allow for solar systems moving forward. (Please note, these guidelines apply to Decora Park HOA and not Decora Park North)

Hi everyone! You should have received this in the mail recently, but just in case — here’s the proxy form and absentee ballot if you are unable to attend the Decora Park Subdivision annual co-owner meeting on April 26th at NHE.

As of right now Roberta Dominick, Kristy Bailey, Tarajee Wade-Rodgers, and myself are planning on re-running for the Board. Joseph Slicker will unfortunately be stepping down at the end of his term so he can focus more time on his new side gigs he has going on. On behalf of all of us on the board, thank you Joe for your time with us on the board and we cannot thank you and Heidebriecht Chevrolet enough for the sponsorships of our events over the years. 😀

Attached in this post is the proxy form. If you know that you will be unable to attend the meeting on the 26th, please consider filling out the proxy form and dropping it off at either a trusted neighbor’s house who you know will be attending, or if you’re willing to you can drop it off to any of the board members who are running. The proxy form coupled with people attending in person ensures that we achieve quorum which is important for our annual meetings. The proxy form gives whoever holds the form permission to vote at the meeting on your behalf. Since we do not have any resolutions planned for the meeting the vote would be for electing the board members. In years past, having submitted proxy forms has been critical for us achieving quorum because most people do not attend the meeting.

The attachment also includes an absentee ballot – so if you are unable to attend the meeting and don’t have someone you want to give your proxy, you can fill out the absentee ballot and mail it back to Kramer Triad to vote for whomever you would like to elect to the board. Kristy and Tara will be write-ins and we need a 5th person to nominate to the board.

Otherwise I hope to see a ton of our neighbors at the meeting on the 26th!!

Decorate your house for Halloween! On Friday, October 29th, a few ghosts will float around the subdivision to pick their favorite houses. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Calling all Decora Park residents! Join us Saturday, August 14th from Noon to ??? for our annual Decora Park Summer Bash! Party will be in the park at the gazebo! From Noon to 4pm we will have fun for the whole family — dunk tank, bounce houses, hotdogs and nachos, face painting! After 4pm we’ll have more activities for the adults — cornhole tournament, car show, and a concert!
